The 2016 Hermosa Beach Historical Society Gala (above) celebrated “Dancing through the ‘70s.” This year’s gala will celebrate “Beach through the Decades” on Saturday, Aug. 27 at St. Cross Church, 1818 Monterey Blvd., starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $100 at eventbrite.com. The evening will include dinner from Bottle Inn and Slay Beach, along with live music and dancing.
