Racket and cash theft
A suspect stole two skateboards, a tennis racket and a bag containing cash from a residence in the 700 block of Beach Drive on July 30 at about 10:20 a.m. The suspect was identified on a surveillance video and later arrested, police said.

Sunset Series continues
The Sunset Concert continues on the south side of the pier Sunday evening from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with the Spazmatics and guest James Clay Harrison. The event is free. There is no alcohol or smoking allowed on the beach.
