Redondo Beach Fireworks

Bring your blankets or chairs and get ready for an amazing pyrotechnic show! The fireworks will be launched off a barge about 300 yards away from the Redondo Beach Pier. There will be several vantage points from the pier and along the beach to view the fireworks.

A family-friendly community event and a front row seat for the Fireworks Spectacular. Seating is first served. Bring Beach blankets, chairs and small umbrellas. Enjoy all day supervised swimming and arts and crafts, inflatable slides, patriotic music, food. Admission is sold until the lagoon reaches capacity.

Running Hot, a Rolling Stones tribute band plays on the Redondo Beach Pier. Bring a blanket or low-backed beach chair. Free outdoor event. Fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.

Redondo Independence Day 5K Run

Join the 31st annual 4th of July 5K and Firecracker Dash in Redondo Beach at 8 a.m. sponsored by UCLA Health. All participants will receive an Independence Day run T-shirt. There will be chip timing, age division awards, and cash prizes for the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run. Costume Contest. All kids’ dash finishers receive medals too.

Guys and girls compete by running a mile, paddling a mile in the ocean on a paddleboard, and then consuming a 6 pack of beer without puking. Proceeds benefit local charities. $35.

4th of July celebration with the city aquatics staff, celebrating our nation’s independence. A day of water games, water balloon toss, swimming, and music. No food will be provided. Bring a picnic to eat on the grass area. $5 per person.

The Annual 4th of July includes daytime events from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and evening events from 5 – 9 p.m. The fireworks show will start at 9 p.m. The streets will be closed around the park to allow you to safely enjoy all the festivities. Daytime events include contests like hula hoops, a water balloon toss, a watermelon eating contest presented by the Rotary Club, and a pie eating contest presented by the Kiwanis Club. There will also be a 3-legged sack race, toddler and youth races, and a diaper derby for crawlers. Evening events will include live music, food booths, and the fireworks.

A spectacular, 20-minute fireworks show over the water in Marina del Rey. View the show from nearly anywhere in Marina del Rey, Venice Pier, Playa Vista, and Dockweiler Beach. You can enjoy music synchronized to the show at the following locations: Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way and Fisherman’s Village, 13755 Fiji Way.

Long Beach Shoreline Fireworks Show

Fourth of July fireworks show at Queensway Bay, sponsored by the City of Long Beach. The free show can be seen all along the waterfront with prime viewing points at Lions Lighthouse for Sight, Shoreline Village, Rainbow Harbor, and Marina Green.

Undersea fireworks, Aquarium of the Pacific
100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach
View an ocean’s worth of patriotic hues and the dazzling undersea “fireworks” and natural spectacles displayed by the aquatic residents of the Aquarium of the Pacific. Special after hours access on July 4. Special tickets get you access to a buffet meal from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and include all-day Aquarium admission. Extended general admission hours are available until 8 p.m., but advance registration is required.
