June 17 BCHD Board Meeting to Hear Plans for Reduced Healthy Living Campus Project

The BCHD Campus in Redondo Beach, from the corner of Beryl and Flagler.

Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) postponed its mid-March Healthy Living Campus public study session due to the COVID-19 Safer At Home Health Order. Updated campus plans will be the topic of the virtual BCHD Board of Directors public meeting on June 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Significant modifications to the proposed Healthy Living Campus Concept Master Plan will be presented – based on public input and potential impacts of the project – including a reduction in assisted living units, a shorter construction window and more.

Members of the public and media are invited to attend the June 17 Board meeting via call-in or videoconferencing platform.  More information will be available on June 12 about how to join this meeting and make a public comment at https://www.bchd.org/board-directors-meetings.
