Jill Lamkin, former owner of the downtown Manhattan Beach children’s boutique Sprout, has been named executive director of the Manhattan Beach Downtown Business and Professional Association. Lamkin succeeds Kelly Stroman, who was named CEO of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce in January. Lamkin will provide marketing, advocacy and community relations for the associations 300 members. She will also manage the Tuesday downtown Farmers Market, which the association founded.
