Luisa Gaxiola is only 27 but she’s already opened her own salon. She’s also a stylist of eight years. “I enjoy seeing people leave the salon and not be able to stop looking at themselves in the mirror,” said Gaxiola, who grew up in Long Beach and lives in San Pedro. She’s able to style both men’s and women’s hair. “I call myself a hybrid because I can do a zero fade and do a full head of highlights, ombre and balayage,” she said.
