Candidate debates
Three public forums are slated featuring the seven candidates in the March 5 election for two seats on the City Council. On Feb. 12, the Manhattan Beach Residents Association hosts a forum starting at 7 p.m. at the Police/Fire conference room at 420 15th Street. On Feb. 14, American Martyrs Church hosts the candidates beginning at 9 a.m. at O’Donnell Hall on 624 15th Street. On Feb. 21, the candidates will meet at the Joslyn Center, 1401 N. Valley Drive, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
