An 18-year-old from Manhattan Beach was found dead in the Theta Chi fraternity house at UCLA on Saturday afternoon.

Glen Parrish was pronounced dead by paramedics at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. The house is located on the 600 block of Gayley Avenue.

Friends called the paramedics upon finding Parrish unresponsive, according to Ed Winter, assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County.

While the final cause of death has not yet been determined, his death was reported as a possible accident involving prescription medications and alcohol, Winter said. An autopsy is scheduled for today.

UPDATE: Friends of Parrish created a Facebook page, “GLEN Berlin Parrish rest in paradise,” to share photos and memories.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article stated that Parrish was a student at Arizona State University. Parrish was never a student at Arizona State University, according to Jeanne Schaser, of the university’s media relations.
