Manhattan Beach police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who last month broke into cars on two separate occasions in the Northrop Grumman parking lot.

On the morning of Oct. 13, a woman returned to her car in the Northrop Grumman parking lot on the 1800 block of Marine Avenue to find her window smashed with a gas cap and a missing purse, according to MBPD. Almost two weeks later, on Oct. 26, another victim returned to her car to find a smashed rear window, missing her purse and Apple iPad.

Northrop Grumman’s security footage shows a red 2005 Ford Explorer parked next to each victim’s car when the burglaries occurred.

Those with information regarding these crimes or suspect vehicle should contact MBPD Det. Shawn Thompson at 310-802-5124 or sthompson@citymb.info.
