Rummage sale

Cancer survivorship
Beat the Odds, a comprehensive cancer survivorship program, is for patients and family members focused on practical ways of dealing with the many aspects of cancer. Mentors fashion show
Reserve a seat by the runway for the third annual Love Your Mentors Fashion Show & Silent Auction benefiting the Women Guiding Women: a Cancer Support and Education program at the Memorial Care Breast Center, Long Beach Memorial. It pairs specially trained cancer survivors with newly diagnosed women to provide a variety of support services for breast and gynecologic cancer patients. Mardis Gras

Caregivers Tools

Shred Kids Cancer!
The Woman’s Club of Hermosa Beach hosts its 7th annual Adrienne’s Search for Children’s Cancer Cure fundraiser, benefiting Shred Kids Cancer. Starting at 5 p.m., the all-family event begins at 5 p.m., with appetizers and live music provided by Feed the Kitty, local guitarists/ vocalists, and at 5:30 p.m., Chef Rafael Solorzano of Delzano’s/Lunada Bay House will provide a full and fabulous buffet of delicious food served by volunteers of the Key Club and the S Club of MCHS. There are kids activities, a huge silent auction and cash bar (homemade Sangria, freshly made Margaritas, red/white wine, champagne and lots of Bud plus free soft drinks for kids). St Pat’s 5K Village Run
The Village Runner’s annual 5K Run/Community Walk and Little Leprechaun Dash for the Gold, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. has just been selected by the ASICS LA Marathon as an official warm-up race. Participants often run in full St. Paddy’s Day outfits with shamrocks painted on their faces and bodies, lucky beads, Leprechaun hats and green party outfits. Kids Safety Class
The United Studios of Self Defense is offering a special, free program to help educate and protect our children from all possible personal dangers in The Pacific Plaza: 3817 Pacific Coast Hwy., Torrance.
