A medical marijuana dispensary sign that appeared Tuesday, April 1 on an empty storefront at 423 Pier Avenue in downtown Hermosa Beach promised a new controversy for Hermosa residents. The store was formerly home to Kajansian Stained Glass. But the promised controversy was short lived. The storefront sign was gone by the end of the day. Locksmith Frank Hallstein reports that his longtime current location at 555 Pier Avenue, next to the post office, is to become a Kinecta Credit Union. So he is moving to the 423 Pier location.
