Morris gets laughs from ‘Damage’

Keith Morris holds court at the Hermosa Museum Friday night in front of posters advertising shows that he played in as a member of Black Flag and the Circle Jerks. Morris started the evening by singing from memory the alma mater of Pier Avenue School, which once occupied the building where the Community Center and museum now stand, and which he attended along with several other South Bay punk legends, including future bandmate Earl Liberty. Morris read selections from his autobiography “My Damage,” occasionally sprinkling in anecdotes and observations about politics. Photo by Brent Broza
