Not all is at it appears during beach shutdown in Hermosa Beach

A Black Crown Night Heron appeared to be on the grass at Noble Park in Hermosa Beach Sunday morning, in front of a chain link fence, newly built to prevent surfers from surfing during the beach shutdown. The heron was actually on the grass at Clark Baseball Stadium, in front of the left field fence. The perfect, unridden left and right wave is a mural on the fence by photographer Bo Bridges. — Photos
