Pacific Palisades Fire debris ends up on Hermosa shoreline

This badly burned wood beam washed up at 14th Street in Hermosa Beach Saturday morning. Similar burnt debris has been found along South Bay Beaches, from El Segundo to Palos Verdes. The debris is believed to be from homes destroyed by the recent Pacific Palisades Fire, at the north end of the Santa Monica Bay, 20 miles up the coast. The fire destroyed over 6,000 homes, including many oceanfront homes. Photo by Kevin Cody
