A basketball game between Camp Escapades campers and celebrity athletes is an annual tradition at the Pediatric Therapy Network day camp. This year’s special guests included campers’ coach Kurt Rambis ( Los Angeles Lakers advisor and former PTN spokesperson), community team captain Daryl Evans (LA Kings radio commentator), referee Pat Furey (Torrance mayor), referee Keith Kaufman (Redondo Beach Police Chief) and the Laker. It was a close game but the campers came out on top with a 35 to 34 win. Camp Escapades is a two-week, summer camp for children with developmental concerns and their siblings.
