Rugby: Carl Aquirre (Palos Verdes High School 2012) will return to his home prep field as a member of the USC Trojans who will play an exhibition game against UC Santa Barbara at noon on Saturday, Oct. 17. Sailing: Mira Costa Sailing Team senior Peter Neal finished 6th at the 16-team Pacific Coast Interscholastic Sailing Association (PCISA) Single-handed Pacific Coast Championships at US Sailing Center Long Beach, Sept. 26-27. PCISA is the regional governing body of high school sailing. The Mira Costa Sailing Team is a student club team run through King Harbor Yacht Club’s Junior Race Team by the King Harbor Youth Foundation.
