Riviera Village Summer Festival
The Riviera Village Summer Festival returns for its 41st year on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24.
The two-day festival will feature over 300 arts and craft booths and exhibitors, as well as a food court, carnival games, and rides.
Two live entertainment stages will be rocking throughout the festival. The main stage, at Avenue I and Catalina Avenue, adjoins the beer and wine garden, for ages 21 and up. The community stage, at Catalina Avenue and Elena Avenue, will have all-ages entertainment.
Local non-profit group Keeps the Esplanade Beautiful is among the festival’s exhibitors and will lead-free Butterfly Walks during the entire two-day event to observe the endangered El Segundo blue butterfly and other inhabitants of the beach bluff just steps from the sidewalk.
Keep the Esplanade President Ann Dalkey says “Our new non-profit status is giving us the opportunity to build our programs for providing positive advocacy for our Esplanade so that everyone will always have a lovely setting for enjoying the Esplanade and its environs.”
The event is free. For more information on performers and a map of the area, visit rvsummerfestival.com.
