Longtime South Bay Realtor Michele Ann McEwan passed away August 15, at her Redondo Beach home surrounded by her family. McEwan sold real estate locally for over 35 years, first with Century 21, then Re/Max Beach Cities and then Shorewood Realtors. Her community activities included serving as president of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. McEwan is survived by her husband James Gilbo, brother Jay Buckley, sons Brian and Gregory McEwan and seven grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at St. Lawrence Martyrs Church, 1900 S Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, this coming Saturday, September 8, at 10 a.m. Â A celebration of her life will follow at noon at the Redondo Beach American Legion, 412 Camino Real, Redondo Beach.
