Two Redondo Beach Fire Department engines and their crews were on the scene in Pacific Palisades Tuesday to help fight the sudden wildfire, estimated to have burned 5,000 acres and claimed at least 1,000 structures as of Wednesday morning.
Redondo Beach City Manager Mike Witzansky reported the mutual aid dispatch of the local firefighters and equipment at Tuesday night’s city council meeting.
