A personal trainer has been arrested in Redondo Beach for allegedly sexually assaulting a client during a training session.

Gustavo Satragni, 43, was arrested by the Redondo Beach Police Department on May 1 for allegedly sexually assaulting a client. According to police reports, the woman alleges that she was sexually assaulted by Satragni during a personal training session at his Redondo Beach residence.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office filed two felony counts of sexual assault against Satragni at the close of the investigation performed by the Redondo Beach Police Detectives. Satragni is currently being held on $100,000 bail at the Los Angeles County Jail awaiting his next court appearance on May 12.

Saragni ran his own personal training business in Redondo Beach, as well as a fitness club called “Gustavo Satragni’s Guru Fight Team.” He was once personal trainer to professional boxing champion Shane Mosley.

Because of the nature of Satragni’s alleged crimes, Redondo Beach Police Detectives are seeking any further persons who might have been victimized by him. Those with any information should contact Detective Clint Daniel at (310) 379-2477 ext. 2480 or clint.daniel@redondo.org.
