DUI Traffic Collision

On Wednesday, July 18, at 10:13 p.m., Redondo Beach police dispatched to the 200 block of North Harbor Drive, after getting a call warning of a vehicle driving recklessly and doing donuts.

The car drove onto Harbor Drive and lost control, flipping onto its side. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived, though all occupants had escaped the vehicle safely prior to officers’ arrival. The driver showed symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was placed under arrest for DUI.

Resisting arrest, obstruction and delaying an officer

On Friday, July 20, at 11:36 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of North Pacific Coast Highway, regarding a male who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was waving what appeared to be a “fake” gun.
