When actress Judie Aronson found out that she would have to appear in a bikini for a role, she turned to high intensity pilates to get in shape. “I fell in love with it,” said Aronson, who opened her studio in Manhattan Beach six years ago and another in Redondo Beach five years ago. Besides producing “immediate results,” it didn’t hurt. Aronson had been injured in an earlier accident. Her South Bay brand of pilates has become so successful that she’s planning on expanding to other areas.
