School District sets intention for $3.9 million in American Rescue Plan funds

The Redondo Union school board received $3.19 million from the federal American Rescue Plan Oct. 26. The plan, which Congress approved last March, requires the money be spent on programs that address students’ academic, social, emotional and mental health needs. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Susan Wildes said a district survey conducted Sept. 10 through  Oct. 1 received 1,134 responses.
