Skechers update
The Skechers Design Center, at 2901 Pacific Coast Highway, in Hermosa Beach will be completed next summer; and the Executive Office Building, at 3001 Pacific Coast Highway, will be completed the following summer, in 2024, Skechers Vice President Tim Ball, of Commercial Development told Hermosa’s City Council Tuesday night.
Construction has been slowed by supply chain interruptions, resulting from the pandemic, Ball said during his update on the project to the council.
A pedestrian tunnel underneath 30th street, which will connect the two buildings, is also scheduled for competition by summer 2024.
This Saturday, and Sunday, September 17 and 18, traffic on Pacific Coast Highway, in front of the construction 2901 construction site will be restricted to one lane in each direction.
