Prettier in pastel
The second annual “Pastel Impressions” features selected works from The Pastel Society of Southern California (PSSC), and it opens with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Malaga Cove Library, 2400 Via Campesina, Palos Verdes Estates. Some 22 artists will be featured. Gallery hours are Thursdays and Fridays, Noon to 4 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; with other hours by appointment. Solo guitarist TJ Brinjack performs his monthly “Liquid Lunch” concert from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Suzy’s Bar & Grill, 1141 Artesia Blvd., at Prospect, in Hermosa Beach.
