Keeping alive the tradition

The South Bay New Orleans Jazz Club meets from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 214 Avenue I in Redondo Beach. The featured band is Richard Simon’s Jazz America. Admission, $9 general or $7 members. (310) 376-2591.
