CHRISTMAS HELP
Neptunian Christmas Wrapping – Members of the Neptunian Woman’s Club will be wrapping Christmas presents at the Manhattan Beach Village Shopping Center from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at 3200 North Sepulveda Boulevard, Manhattan Beach. Bring your presents to have them made beautiful with wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and other elements. The cost for the wrapping depends on the size of the package. Proceeds go to scholarships for Mira Costa seniors. Now until December 24th.

PUBLIC SAFETY FAIR
The Hermosa Beach Police Department will be hosting a public safety fair and open house 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 540 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach. The South Bay Bicycle Coalition and Beach Cities Cycling Club will be providing free bicycle safety instructions, complementary bicycle inspections will be provided by The Old Bike Shop and Hermosa Cyclery, and Hermosa Beach police officers and police volunteers will be onsite to answer questions regarding current State and City laws pertaining to bicycle safety. The event will also feature tours of the Police Station, K-9 unit and crime scene demonstrations, and a static display of department vehicles and equipment. There will be free child I.D. kits, goodie bags for adults and children, as well as safety and crime prevention exhibits by The Hermosa Beach Disaster Service Workers and Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch, a bounce house for children, and more! Free food will be available to the public, courtesy of The Hermosa Beach Police Officers’ Association.

King Harbor hosts its 23rd annual event which harnesses the joy of the holiday season with its festive lights that always entertain the crowd. Grand Marshall this year is Fritz Coleman – NBC LA Weathercaster. Theme “King Harbor Lights” is sure to inspire creative entries for the boats and SUP/paddlecraft as they compete for one of 16 awards. Manhattan Beach holiday fireworks festival takes place from 4 – 7:30 p.m. at the Manhattan Pier. Street closures begin at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m.: Skechers Snow Park opens (Admission: please donate canned food, new unwrapped toys, or cash for the YMCA and The Friendship Circle Toy and Canned Food Drive) and the Holiday Bounce Park opens. CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
61st Annual Christmas Pageant. A South Bay tradition since 1953, Neighborhood Church will present its 61st Annual Christmas Pageant for the community. Performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The prelude in the Sanctuary features the Handbell Choirs of Neighborhood Church at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., followed by Christmas carol singing and scripture reading. More than 150 people participate in these nativity tableaux which feature costumed participants telling the story of the first Christmas. Attendees are invited on a pilgrimage to view seven nativity scenes presented throughout the spectacular ocean bluff grounds of Neighborhood Church, 415 Paseo del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates. This year, Neighborhood Church is partnering with the Toberman House Food Pantry and we are asking attendees to bring cans of food to help stock their pantry this holiday season. This is a free event and is the Neighborhood Church’s gift to the community. It usually draws large crowds, so come early, dress warmly and celebrate joyfully. Come celebrate the holidays with friends at NAMI South Bay Holiday Potluck Dinner.
