Shakespeare by the Sea presents The Merry Wives of Windsor, a romantic comedy which tells of Falstaff’s folly: courting two married women at the same time. It’s mischief and mayhem galore. 7 p.m. at Valley Park. The park has a very steep hill and low beach chairs, and blankets are best. Gets a little damp and chilly so bring a jacket. Chili cook off
Bring the whole family for a day of food, fun and prizes at the community celebration and chili cook off. Free. Taste chili and vote for your favorite. Join Beach Cities Health District for a free class of Mindful Yoga on the beach. The weekly event takes place on the sand south of the Manhattan Beach Pier. 6:30 p.m. Registration starts at 6 p.m. with the hour long yoga class beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bring a yoga mat and or towel and water.
