DONATE
Beach City Baseball Academy’s annual baseball equipment donation drive is going on now at their facility in El Segundo. Anyone with unwanted baseball gear such as helmets, gloves, bats, bags, balls, cleats, and hats can drop them off at 430 East Grand Ave El Segundo. BCBA will be adding to donations received and giving them to the Para Los Niños (“For the Children” in Spanish) non-profit just before Christmas. MEETING
Recovery Choices, teaching skills and offering support for people recovering from drug and alcohol problems, holds weekly meetings facilitated by Alicia MacGowan, licensed clinical social worker and advanced alcohol and drug counselor. Both 12-steppers and non-12-steppers are welcome at 3 p.m. in the Hermosa Beach Recovery NOW Group Room, 2200 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 205A, Hermosa Beach. Participants must RSVP at the site RecoveryNowLA.com for a spot at the meeting. $5 suggested donation.

HOLIDAY HELP
Members of the Neptunian Woman’s Club will be wrapping Christmas presents at theManhattan Beach Village Shopping Center from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at 3200 North Sepulveda Boulevard, Manhattan Beach. Bring your presents to have them made beautiful with wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and other elements. The cost for the wrapping depends on the size of the package. Proceeds go to scholarships for Mira Costa seniors. Now until December 24th.

Help us help others with a Christmas Tree from Hermosa Kiwanis Club. Come to the lot and speak with one of the tree experts to find the perfect tree for your family. TOY DRIVE
Baja Sharkeez, Hermosa Beach will be holding a fundraising event for the Toys for Tots organization from 6 – 9 p.m. at 52 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach. The drop box will be open to the public starting at 11 a.m. Raffle as well as continuing the toy drive starting at 6 p.m.

ENERGY CIRCLE
Reiki Energy Circle with Jovita Trani and other Reiki Masters from the South Bay from 12:30 – 3 p.m. at 109 West Torrance Blvd, Redondo Beach. In a group setting, learn to share and experience giving and receiving. Offered on the fourth Friday of each month, participants can join others in this circle using Reiki energy techniques. An Epic Holiday Bottle Share to benefit Richstone Family Center. BOOK SALE
The Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library will hold a sale of used books, DVDs and CDs at the Bard Street Bookstore, 1309 Bard Street, (1/2 block west of H.B. Library) from 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Tis the season for giving and what could be nicer than for that special person (including yourself) to receive a book. South Bay Galleria presents The Festival of Lights with a special Menorah Lighting. The Jewish
Community Center of the Beach Cities invites the community to celebrate with music, special tastes of traditional Chanukah food, and fun holiday crafts. Christmas Eve at St. Peter’s by the Sea will be offering three unique services: At 4 p.m. – Children’s Christmas Play. Family-friendly service with cookies and cocoa after the service. At 7 p.m. – Celebration and Connection. Family-friendly service that’s informal, with familiar carols led by our praise band. At 9 p.m. – Candles and Communion: A Traditional Service. The Sanctuary Choir and Ringers by the Sea bell choir lead the music for this traditional family-friendly service with communion. The Rev. Paul Barrett preaching: Luke 2:1-20, “Restoration: Joy to the World,” at all three services. A candlelight gathering glows bright on our tree-lit patio as Silent Night is sung by all at the close of each service. Complimentary cookies. Childcare provided.
