Spotlight on art: Opening night reception Anne Olsen Daub, SoCal Glass 

Both exhibitions are running through April 13. As Anne Olsen Daub notes, “Found objects are constantly seducing me. The allure of the discarded is the basis of my artist journey.” Daub lives in San Pedro with her husband, the noted sculptor Eugene Daub.

Emily Zaiden is the director and curator of the Craft in America Center in Los Angeles. For this survey of contemporary glass she brought in approximately 20 artists and 40 works. The pieces themselves are diverse, creative, and often colorful.
