Spotlight on charity – Jack Black hosts Layla Paige Walk for TrinityKids Care

500 walkers along Paseo Del Mar.

Over 500 walkers joined actor, musician and comedian, Jack Black for the annual “Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care,” celebrating the life and legacy of Layla Paige and all the patients touched by TrinityKids Care. The magical morning, on October 8 in Palos Verdes Estates, began with a heartfelt song by Nicholas Tana in honor of his daughter Cat, a current TKC patient. Then Larissa and Matt told the story of their daughter Layla, who was born with an incurable brain disorder, and died in 2017, when she was two years old. Then PV Juniors President Kandis Wannamaker, along with Jack Black and Luke Sonnen,  got everyone up on their feet, and ready to walk with a high energy exercise routine. The walk was along the Palos Verdes cliffs. When walkers returned, they enjoyed food and activities, raffle prizes, and an art auction featuring works by TrinityKids Care patients and their families.
