Over 750 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle children’s book by the late David Saltzman and over 750 Jester & Pharley Dolls are heading into the hands of children with cancer through proceeds from the recent Jester Jubilee. The annual summer “phund-raiser” of the Palos Verdes-based nonprofit Jester & Pharley Phund brought guests from throughout the South Bay to Los Verdes Golf Club for the event featuring a popular silent auction and raffles. Primary sponsor of the phun-filled event was Providence Little Company of Mary. Other sponsors included Adventist Health White Memorial, City of Hope/South Bay, Memorial Care Miller Children’s, Orthopaedic Institute for Children, Dr. Norman and Robin Panitch, Torrance Memorial, Malaga Bank and Smart & Final.
