SPOTLIGHT ON COMMUNITY Palos Verdes Golf Club Hosts Hard Hat Luncheon

On January 19, the Palos Verdes Golf Club hosted a “work-in-progress” Hard Hat Luncheon to preview their newly renovated foyer dining areas. Though the project was still several weeks from completion, it offered community members a behind-the-scenes look at their vision for their latest dining chapter. The new spaces were reimagined to reflect a fresh, more contemporary look, and feel according to General Manager David Conforti, General Manager of the Club. The alfresco luncheon was prepared by their in-house chef, Garrett Yokoyama, and included a butter lettuce salad with Cosmic Crisp apples and candied hazelnuts along with grilled Skuna Bay Salmon from Vancouver Island, with coconut curry and baby heirloom carrots, sunchokes and turnips. The dessert was their signature chocolate chip cookies with coffee and tea. PEN
