A James Bond-themed fundraiser for St. John Fisher School was held for over 200 guests at the Palos Verdes Golf Club on March 4. Luna, a Maltipoo puppy was the star of the evening. Guests bidded for the right to make her part of their family.  The indoor/outdoor event included dancing to live music, a sit-down dinner and a large, carefully curated silent auction featuring VIP seating at the school’s 8th grade graduation, a week at Astrocamp for science in Idyllwild, and a private wine tasting for 20 at Total Wine’s Private Room. For over 60 years, St. John Fisher has focused on providing their students with a thorough Catholic education and has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. In 2022, their elementary school was selected to be the Best of Rancho Palos Verdes in the Elementary School Category.
