Spotlight on Education: Educator of the Year Awards Hosted by the PVP Rotary Club

The 43rd Annual Educator of the Year dinner was hosted by the Palos Verdes Rotary Club recently at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. Co-Chairs Joan E. Behrens and David Rowe and Club President Julia Parton introduced the nine teacher honorees, who  talked about their influences, and their gratitude for their families, colleagues, and students. The educators received name-engraved gold carriage clocks, certificates of commendation from civic groups and elected officials, and gift certificates to Terranea Spa. Donations gathered in connection with this event help fund the annual PVP Rotary College Scholarships.
