Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF) parents gathered at the private residence of Whitt and Tracey Lee, to donate a 95 point wine or higher to the foundation that will be auctioned off at their highly anticipated Spring fundraiser. Parents enjoyed homemade appetizers and a wine and nonalcoholic beverage bar at the February 25 evening. The Dr. Devin Serrano, PVPUSD’s superintendent of education, Jen Mentesana, President of the PEF, and Laura Hughes, Executive Director of the PEF were all addressed the guests about the importance of music teachers, as well as librarians and physical education teachers, all of whom are funded completely by the PEF.
