On the evening of June 8th at the Los Verdes Country Club, PV Juniors magnanimously disbursed over $160K raised with masterful fundraising efforts and awarded the proceeds to six chosen charities and scholarship recipients including the Boys and Girls Club, LA Harbor, Community’s Child, Family Promise of the South Bay, Harbor Interfaith, Providence Trinity Care Hospice Foundation and S.H.A.W.L (Support for Harbor Area Women’s Lives). Philanthropy Chair, Supriya Gianchandani, made these selected charity presentations. Additionally student scholarships were awarded by Scholarship Chair Allsion Phillips, to Janna Lee; The Pike Art Scholarship went to Arrianna Funiciello and The Sipes Scholarship went to Maile Frankwick. The evening concluded with a brief PV Juniors membership meeting and installation of the new board.
