The City of Rolling Hills Estates joined neighboring cities on the evening of December 2 at El Pollo Inka to commemorate the community and recognize holiday parade Grand Marshal Alex Gray and Community Marshal Julia Parton. Gray is a professional surfer and inspirational speaker. Parton is the 2023 Citizen of the Year. RHE Mayor Britt Huff led the festivities while guests enjoyed visits with Santa and a delicious South American buffet dinner. Sponsors of the evening’s festivities included UCLA Health, Malaga Bank, Peninsula Shopping Center and Waste Management. A festive and highly anticipated parade followed with marching bands, girl scouts, dancers and classic cars all making their way along Silver Spur Road heading east, then south to Deep Valley Drive and then continuing through the Promenade on the Peninsula to Norris Center Drive.
