Las Madrecitas/Las Ninas hosted their annual Mother & Daughter Tea at the historic Palos Verdes Golf Club. Guests wore their most fabulous “derby” hats for an afternoon of food, drinks, games and shopping. A Grand Raffle offered guests a chance to win an Apple Series 8 watch and other fantastic prizes. The Heads and Tails game offered participants a chance to win gold and diamond earrings from Concierge Diamonds, and guests flocked to try their luck with a “Derby Wine Pull.”Some of the exquisite shopping vendors included Cason Couture, Annie’s Boutique, Mr. Hoffey’s Toffee and Social Butterfly Designs. Proceeds benefited the Luskin Orthopedic Institute for Children (OIC). The charity offers students leadership opportunities, philanthropic goals and an opportunity to learn about medicine in a real hospital setting.
