The annual Chefs and Cellars benefit for the Palos Verdes Art Center made for a magical afternoon at Jim and Cathy York’s Catalina View Gardens. The Art Center Associates have raised over $1 million to help fund exhibitions, support education and help art programs be accessible to the community. There were 13 beer, wine and spirit vendors, 14 local restaurants and loads of camaraderie, auction items and fun. Catalina View Gardens released for the first time their new chardonnay and pinot, which they have been preparing for the past five years. Incoming co-presidents, Karen Gale and Candi Gershuni, gave brief thank you speeches to their sponsors and guests.
