Rancho Palos Verdes came together at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, with current and past council members, leaders and law enforcement members to deliver the message of solidarity and gratitude to its members and constituents. The new Point Vicente Lighthouse lens could be seen shining in the distance and wafting scents of simmering cuisine were outside, catered by Entertaining Friends. Mayor Susan Brooks delivered the opening speech, thanking each individual in the audience who had contributed their talents to make their city a better place. Ken Dyda, one of the original founders of Rancho Palos Verdes, also spoke.
