The marquees at the 25th Annual Palos Verdes Concours were California Coachworks and Ferrari. The theme was “California Style.” Among the autos on display were pre-war classics and Ferrari’s first California model, from the early 1960s. Also displayed were Woodies, American convertibles, European sports cars, Japanese sports cars and Volkswagens. Proceeds benefited the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor and The Western Museum of Flight. This year’s concours took place again at Zamperini field and included vintage airplanes side by side with historic automobiles.
