Together again for the first time in several years, over 350 women in the South Bay gathered for the Power of Pink Women’s Wellness Conference benefitting Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers Women & Children’s Health Initiatives. Actress and New York Times bestselling author Marilu Henner motivated listeners with her energy, sage-like wisdom, and memory of a superhero. Speakers Amy D’Ambra, Karen Burns and Glenn Komatsu, MD shared stories of spirit, living your best life, taking charge of one’s own health, and helping to care for those around us. Event co-chairs Linda Wenglikowski and Nina Tarnay, along with their committee, created a visually stunning and meaningful day of friendship and support at the Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach March 3. Funds raised will support Labor & Delivery, NICU, pediatrics, and breast care at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers in Torrance and San Pedro.
