Lately the weather in Southern California has been sub-par. June gloom has set in (July gloom now), and the weather at my house is always completely different than the weather two miles away at my office- so I’m constantly dressing completely wrong.

Yesterday I wore a black blouse with my go-to mint Express pants (massively on sale now $49.99), and almost died sweating at my desk. (Even though there was no sun! What the heck?!)
The sun finally peeked out of the clouds, and I found 16-year-old Jacqueline Beltran from Inglewood at the beach with her sister and cousins soaking up the unusual sun.
She was wearing a cute mint-colored high-low dress (similar $29) from an unknown shop at the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach. Jacqueline dressed perfectly for the weather in her light summer dress, and was the cutest girl on the beach.
Even though she’s just 16, she took precaution from sun damage with a wide-brimmed straw hat from Forever 21 (Similar $12.80).
I certainty can’t pull off a hat, but Jacqueline’s style has inspired me to trek over to the mall and find one to add to my own summer beach bag.
