Three suspects, one female and two males, were arrested last Thursday evening after an alleged strong arm robbery in the Target parking lot in Manhattan Beach, according to the Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Watch.
A strong arm robbery occurs when a suspect doesn’t use weapons, but uses bodily force or intimidation.
One male and the female were arrested immediately, while the second male was found within a couple hours in a resident’s backyard on the 1200 block of Oak Avenue. An El Segundo K9 unit located the suspect, while a Hawthorne Police Department helicopter flew overhead. Police recovered the allegedly stolen materials.
