Six of this year’s 12 Southern Section All CIF volleyball players, enough to field a team, are from the Beach Cities. All CIF honors are based on the recommendations of the CIF Southern Section Volleyball Coaches Association. The Beach City honorees, announced last Thursday, are Mira Costa’s Jack Walmer (setter) and Ben Coordt (outside hitter); Redondo Union’s Inaki Bustamante (outside hitter), and Loyola’s Luke Turner (outside hitter), Will Campbell (setter opposite side hitter) and Henry Wedbush (setter). Coordt and Turner live in Hermosa Beach, Bustamante lives in Redondo. Walmer, Wedbush, and Campbell live in Manhattan Beach.
