Another year has wrapped and with it another World Series of Poker Circuit. But the grind never stops at the WSOP headquarters, and you will soon see the casinos in a city near you light up with the joy of poker fans flooding it for the 2021-2022 WSOP Circuit.
It’s already underway, with North Carolina being the first on the list at Harrah’s Cherokee, followed by The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, and heading into more exotic cities as the tour goes on. To find an event near you, take a look at our guide to the cities on the 2021-2022 WSOP Circuit.
The World Series of Poker Circuit has a few surprises up their sleeves this year. The most interesting of the bunch is the stop at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino.
You can grab a flight and a room at the Hilton and make a very impressive holiday out of your poker passion. Enjoy the shade of the palm trees in the baking sun, a fruity drink by the sea, then head into the casino to see the intense poker games. And then head into the water to wash the tension away yet again.
There will be 16 events between December 9th and the 19th, with no-limit hold’em games and the main event over two days which has a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool – and with a buy-in bid of $1,700 you know that will quickly go up.
If you’re a frequent visitor to GGPoker Canada, you will be pleased to know that the World Series of Poker is migrating to The Great White North.
That’s right, the WSOP Circuit now includes the Deerfoot Inn and Casino in Calgary, Alberta. With 19 events over 11 days, the WSOP is about to deliver a lot of poker entertainment to the doorstep of Canada.
Kicking off the new year with poker events running from Jan 12th to 23rd, the tour includes no-limit hold’em, Omaha bounty, and what everyone comes to see, the main event.
The main event has an initial buy-in of C1,700, culminating on Saturday Jan 22 when the winner will be determined. There is still time to get involved if you can get the funds.
If you just can’t get enough of gambling though, there are loads of reputable casinos found in Calgary. Head to the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino to try out your poker skills before you get into the Deerfoot.
Never fret, Yank poker fans will also get a chance to see all the action up close. Sometimes with even a double dip into these cities, giving fans more chances to watch all the action.
For example, North Carolina’s who missed the Harrah’s Cherokee event in the early days of November can save the date for a further two events! In February the WSOP will swing by for an event lasting from the 17th to the 28th and will head back in April between the 7th and 18th.
And anyone near Mississippi that is busy during the 20th to 31st of January visit can return to the Horseshoe Tunica venue between April 21st and May 2nd to join the feverish fun.
If you’re in Los Angeles and you haven’t made it to The Bicycle Casino for the current poker games, going on until December 15th, you don’t have to worry. The World Series of Poker will be back in California, this time at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
The 2021-2022 circuit schedule also includes Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Louisiana, with all the poker you could want played throughout the tour.
