Because it’s Halloween
Ghosts, ghoulies, and goblins of all ages are invited to don their scariest attire and enjoy trick-or-treat filled events beginning at 3 p.m. in the Palos Verdes Art Center in the Promenade on the Peninsula, 550 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates. There’s a $5 cash entry fee per pet (free to spectators), and there will be prizes for the Most Original, Scariest, Cutest, Funniest, Best Super Hero, and Promenade Pick. At Peninsula Center beginning at 4 p.m. there’s a Kids Costume Contest in the Courtyard near TJ Maxx; (Scariest, Cutest, Funniest); 4:30 p.m. a Jim Gamble Puppet Show; 5 p.m. Trick-or-Treating.
