Veterans Day ceremony in Manhattan Beach

Army Air Corp B24 navigator Joe Arrigo, 99, of Manhattan Beach, (seated) flew 10 combat missions over the Japanese island of Deshima. The island was a six hour flight from his carrier. Navy veteran Dave Rupp (right) brought his World War II Navy Duty Jeep to the ceremony. The Jeep was carried aboard the USS Battleship Nevada.
