Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who earlier this month robbed a victim at gunpoint at a bus stop in Manhattan Beach and fled thereafter.
On the evening of July 2, the suspect approached the bus stop on the intersection of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard on a bicycle and sat next to the victim. Shortly, he produced a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the victim demanding his iPhone and wallet. He fled southbound on Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
The suspect is described as a male black adult around 30 years old with light skin, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet tall with a large build weighing between 215 and 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue striped shirt and a black backpack.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or suspect should contact Manhattan Beach Police Department’s detective Michael Rosenberger at 310-802-5127.
